IE Systems engineering department staffs a NABCEP certified PV Installer and two AutoCAD designers, this enables us to promptly produce engineered drawings and the flexibility to revise as needed. Our comprehensive design documentation leaves virtually no detail open to interpretation with safety and quality in mind. In- House designing also allows coordination with Owner for Value Engineering purposes.
We have many years of experience interfacing with California’s utility companies and municipalities which we have found greatly increases the success and timely completion of our projects.
Since 1978, homes and commercial buildings (new construction, additions and alterations) within California are required to meet the minimum energy efficient standards contained in Title 24. Title 24 is updated periodically and regulates the minimum amount of lighting per square foot dependant on business/building type.
Many electrical companies outsource the Title 24 calculations. IE Systems can provide Title 24 calculations with each design. Our goal is to provide the most energy efficient system for your needs including the implementation of motion sensors, lighting controls and energy efficient light fixtures.
The Design Build process is very beneficial and can be used to save engineering costs and reduce delayed construction schedules. Instead of working with and waiting for Architects to forward information to Electrical Engineers, then to the General Contractor and wait for a proposal from an Electrical Contractor we would work directly with the Architect and Owner for Design, Proposal and Install. This allows the process to run smoothly and have a personal design with costs in mind.
